2018 Compensation for Rostered Leaders

Adopted at the 2017 Synod Assembly

Please note that there are two compensation documents for 2018:  One is for Ministers of Word and Sacrament, both full- and part-time, for both parsonage and housing allowance scenarios.  The other covers Ministers of Word and Service:

Pulpit Supply Rates

The minimum financial payment for pulpit supplies is as follows:

$125 for one service on a Sunday morning
$ 35 for each additional service on a Sunday morning
$ 55 additional for a Saturday evening or Sunday evening service by the same pulpit supply as Sunday morning.
$125 for a Saturday evening or Sunday evening service if done by a different pulpit supply than Sunday morning.
PLUS the IRS allowance of 53.5 cents per mile for each round trip to the congregation(s) to supply (effective January 1, 2017)
