2013 Synod Assembly

The 2013 Southwestern Pennsylvania Synod Assembly will be held June 13-15, 2013 at California University of Pennsylvania; 250 University Ave., California, PA 15419.

REGISTRATION IS AVAILABLE AT THE FOLLOWING WEBSITE:

All Pastors, Lay Rostered Leaders, and Lay Leaders of Congregations of the Southwestern PA Synod have received a letter by E-mail from Pastor David Saylor (registrar) outlining the procedure for registration (sent by Gloria Knezovich on February 13, 2013). In case you have accidentally misplaced your letter, these letters are also available for download (below).  Please note that there are two separate letters - one for rostered leaders, and one for lay leaders in congregations.

Any questions concerning registration should be directed to Pastor David Saylor at 724-538-5810 (office).

We need to get ready for our guests from across the USA and beyond.

The smooth operation of the Churchwide Assembly and the spirit of Pittsburgh hospitality depend on hundreds of volunteers who contribute their time, effort and considerable talent.

What tasks will the volunteers be asked to do?  There are many different tasks from ironing albs and washing communion service pieces, greeting guests at the airport and directing them to transportation, to assisting with worship, registration, and on and on.

To volunteer, please go to the website www.micahscall.org/elca2013 and register on the volunteer page. You will be able to choose a task, day and time.  PLEASE SIGN UP TODAY!
