How wonderful to worship a God whose desire for us is joy! And not only for us, great joy for all the people… at every time in history, and in every place in the world. When we care for the wellbeing of all and assist one another in experiencing abundant life, we are truly participating in the mission of the Christ who is with us.

In 2024, our synod hosted leaders of the Malagasy Lutheran Church here in southwestern Pennsylvania, including the President of our companion synod in Tulear, Madagascar.

To remember that time together, this card features a handmade nativity set from the Lutheran Graduate School of Theology (Sekoly Ambony Loterana momba ny Teolojia) in Fianarantsoa, Madagascar, which is displayed at our synod office.
